Cargo Air first B737-300 , MSN 23237 with present registration N503UW has performed its maiden test flight as cargo converted freighter on 08 MAY 2008 in Miami , Florida.
The aircraft has flew after obtaining a number of FAA permits and approvals for experimental flight after completion of cargo conversion, heavy C6 check as per Boeing MPD, full SI and CPCP cards completed and a number of JAR OPS 1/ EURO OPS 1/ EASA modifications.

The aircraft has performed a test flight of 2 hours and made flight to Key West Airport and went back to Miami International Airport, which is the main base of Commercial Jet, Inc- the approved FAA repair station, which performed all the maintenance, modifications and cargo conversion work on the aircraft.
The aircraft was piloted by two USA Pilot-instructors and was monitored by FAA Test Pilot Inspector on board. There was also FAA Airworthiness inspector on ground, which monitored the flight and recorded all flight test activities. The flight went perfectly well without any objection from pilots and was the successful end of a 6 months modification and maintenance period.
